Program Structure

We provide skateboarding and wcmx (wheelchair motocross) programs and clinics in partnership with different non-profits, city parks and recreation departments and adaptive sport organizations across Texas and the United States.

One-Day Clinics

1-1.5 hour programs to introduce skateboarding/wcmx, the fundamentals and exposure to possibilities for new hobbies and recreation. These programs have 10-20 participants with all skateboards, helmets and instruction provided. We rely on volunteer support to create a 1-to-1 learning scenario. Coaches lead participants and volunteers in skateboarding/wcmx instruction. Safety is our number one priority.

Multi-Series Program

The multi-week or multi-month program goes beyond the clinic exposure where we work on skill building for the program’s duration. These programs meet for 1-1.5 hours weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. These programs have 10-20 participants with skateboards, wcmx chairs, helmets and instruction provided. We rely on volunteer support to create a 1-to-1 learning scenario. Coaches lead participants and volunteers in skateboarding/wcmx instruction. Safety is our number one priority.

What To Expect at a Program

You or your child will be assigned to a volunteer once you arrive at the program. We will not know you/your child’s skill level at the beginning of the program unless you/they are a returning participant. The Lead Coach will assess and create a plan for volunteers and participants within the first few minutes of the clinic beginning. Changes to assignments may be made to find the best fit for participants and volunteers. Please inform the Lead Skate Coach if you have concerns while you/your child is participating in the skateboard/wcmx clinic.
