Who We Serve
Skateboarding is for EVERYONE
At Ability Skateboarding, we teach individuals ages 5–99 of all abilities — including those with cognitive or physical disabilities, as well as those without disabilities. Our programs are built on the belief that skateboarding truly is for everyone, and we create supportive, adaptive pathways so every athlete can roll, learn, and thrive.

Whats in store for the future
We partner with existing non-profits, adaptive sports organizations and parks & recreation departments to bring adaptive skateboarding/WCMX clinics and programs to their communities. By creating partnerships we are able to collectively create more accessibility and inclusion in skateboarding.
Meet Our Founders
Andrew Garcia
Founder/Executive Director/Head Coach
Andrew Garcia was born and raised in San Antonio Texas. Growing up he had a passion for skateboarding and action sports. Andrew graduated from UTSA with a degree in Communication and Non-Profit Management. After College Andrew went into the nonprofit field supporting adaptive sports organizations before creating Ability Skateboarding. Now he is the Executive Director and Head Coach of Ability Skateboarding.
Cristopher Hampton
Co-Founder/Head Coach
Cristopher Hampton was born in LA, raised in Mexico City, and is now settled in Texas. In San Antonio Cris has developed his skills as an interpreter, language instructor, artist, screen printer and graphic designer. While running his screen printing business he helped lead the initial concept for skateboarding clinics with Andrew and, since 2017, Cris has assisted with coaching and further developing the program. Cris believes skateboarding and other action sports are beautiful mind-body connectors and loves being a lead coach for Ability skateboarding.
